Buffalo National River Cleanup, Monday, August 28,
Grinder’s Ferry to Gilbert, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.—Volunteer Opportunity

Give back to the Buffalo National River. - Friends of the Rivers encourages you to join membes of Buffalo National River Partners and others  for a river clean up on Monday, August 28 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Meet at Grinder’s Ferry and be sure to bring grabbers, shovels or other tools to get items out of the river.  Bags will be provided for trash (e.g., cans, paper, etc.).  Bring a sack lunch, water and any other items you will need for your comfort.

Buffalo National River Partners has arranged with the great folks at Silver Hill to donate canoes and shuttles for those who might need one to help with the clean up.  If you’d like to help but need a canoe, please indicate on your registration.

The clean up is limited to 25 participants (canoes).  If you’d like to participate, please see details at the BNRP website (www.bnrpartners.org)
