Vada Sheid Community Development Center, Convention Center Rooms A  & B -

Arkansas State University Campus, Mountain Home AR

AGFC Trout Management Program workshop to continue the public and collaborative work begun on Thursday, Aug. 3.  Concerning the current managment plans developed in 2007 for the White River below Bull Shoals Dam (Bull Shoals Tailwater) and North Fork of the White below Norfork Dam ( Norfork Tailwater), this opportunity is open to all anglers and stakeholders using and enjoying these waters.

According to Christie Graham, Trout Biologist Supervisor for AGFC, "many management actions were implemented since 2007 and it is time now to determine if the those strategies have worked and whether public expectations of the fisheries have changed.  If you enjoy or concerned about these trout fisheries, AGFC trout managers encourage you to participate and help build a comprehensive plan that will make the future of this fisher the best it can be.

The process can be tracked by visiting the AGFC website.
