The White RiverTrout Unlimited fundraiser is an important part of their year, because the funds generated fuel the many programs they provide. It is only through generous sponsors and participants that they can maintain and grow their presence in the White River and North Fork River communities.
Chapter 698 is responsible for many programs including a youth camp, egg planting and several Trout in the Classroom aquariums. Their list for new projects includes a veteran's program; improving walk-in access at Rim Shoals; partnering with other organizations to improve Roundhouse Shoals access and an education program for owners of riverfront property.
