This newsletter features Crooked Creek, Arkansas's Blue Ribbon smallmouth stream. It describes not only the wonderful fishery and recreational aspects of Crooked Creek but also the challenges faced by Crooked Creek because of under treated waste water, stream bank erosion and agricultural runoff from poultry and cattle.

Friends of the Rivers is dedicated to protecting Crooked Creek and we hope you will join us in our efforts. We worked through public education and advocacy with various state and local agencies to protect Crooked Creek and other streams and rivers in our watershed.
